Our hearts were bursting with pride and gratitude when our NASA SL rocket soared to the sky! Despite the gusty wind as strong as 20 mph in the Mojave Desert, our NASA SL team’s official launch today was very successful. Here is a 2-min short video about the launch: https://youtu.be/gkUtUy3LYHM. A full-length version of the video will be ready in a few days. Great teamwork! #nasastudentlaunch #nasa #rocket #stem

Vote Our Team Rocket for the Best-Looking Rocket!
Please vote our team rocket for the best-looking rocket! Here is the photo of our NASA SL rocket with the artistic printing design outside. The printing design features flowers/plants as the poppy flower is the state flower of California. The design is closely related to our payload experiment on how forces/altitude affect the mimosa pudica plants. The ultimate goal of space exploration is to find life (“flowers”) somewhere in the universe. Our team loves the design, and we hope you like it too! #nasastudentlaunch #nasa #rocket #stem
